The measure, introduced by the Ministry of Economic Development, aims to support female entrepreneurship by financing innovative projects to be implemented in various fields and sectors, including tourism.
The Women's Enterprise Fund has an endowment of 200 million euros (160 million euros from the PNRR and 40 million euros allocated by the Budget Law of 2021). These resources will be targeted to women who intend to start new businesses or consolidate existing entrepreneurial realities. Non-repayable grants and low-interest loans are the two financial instruments made available to Italian women entrepreneurs to undertake their investment programs.
