INAIL has released the first dates regarding the ISI 2022/2023 Call for Applications: the application process will begin on May 2, 2023 and will run until June 16. The call will have a record allocation of more than €333 million and is aimed at companies that want to improve the health and safety protection of their employees in the workplace, through the implementation of investment projects and the purchase of specific technological solutions.
Beneficiaries and eligible investments
Companies, including sole proprietorships, located throughout the country and registered with the Chamber of Commerce Industry, Handicrafts and Agriculture, as well as third sector entities, are eligible for the ISI INAIL Call for Proposals.
Depending on the type of applicant company, funding can be provided to support investment projects designed to increase worker safety and that fall under at least one of the five funding axes established by INAIL. Specifically, companies operating in the hospitality and catering sector can apply for two funding axes:
- Funding Axis 1: related to investment projects and projects for the adoption of organizational models and social responsibility (funded with 161.8 million euros);
- Funding Axis 2: related to projects for risk reduction from MMC - manual handling of loads (funded with 40 million euros).
For both funding axes, the maximum percentage of expenses covered is 65 percent. The project must have a value between a minimum of 5 thousand euros and a maximum of 130 thousand euros.
Procedure for completing and submitting applications
To compile and submit applications, companies must follow the IT procedure by accessing the "Access Online Services" section of the INAIL portal and following the procedures described in the regional and provincial Notices. From May 2 to June 16, then, applicants can access the counter to proceed with the telematic compilation of the application and acquire the chronological order to be used during the click day (the date of which will be announced later by the Institute).
As of June 23, companies admitted to the chronological lists will be able to download the identification code. This ID code will be requested during the click day, when the online uploading and uploading of documentation and then the final submission of applications should take place.
